Venue: NTU Yunnan Corner
Date: 16th February 2008
The NTU Student Section held its Networking Session Cum CNY Celebration at the NTU Yunnan Corner on 16th February 2008.
Some 50 members including our immediate past-chair of the ASME Singapore Section, Professor John Pang, the NTU ASME student section committee and members, and friends, attended the memorable event.
The gathering began with a presentation prepared by Prof John Pang on the significance of New Year wishes. Everyone had a great time, and though the buffet and BBQ was very well received, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly the calligraphy session. Everyone is given a written traditional Chinese word of fortune by a young calligrapher from NTU as door gift.
