"Wake Up Now! Be One with the World!"
NUSBS Dharma Camp 2011
Date: 5th – 9th December 2011
Venue: Cheng Beng Buddhist SocietyDharma camp is one of the biggest NUSBS annual activities which has been usually taken place in early December every year. It is not just a camp of fun but an occasion when you get to find your true spiritual friends who will accompany you for the search of truth.
The theme for this year is based on MINDFULNESS. Are you really mindful of what you are doing at the present moment? You may be holding remorse and regrets over what you did in the past, worries and concerns over the uncertainties of your future and you end up not realizing what you are having in your present moment. This results in so many dissatisfactions in life. The Buddha, our greatest teacher, mentioned, 'The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly. It is never too late to do something unless you are not giving yourself a chance. It is time for you to come back and live with the World. Please go to this link
If you have any concerns or queries regarding the camp, please feel free to contact Chin Xia@ projects@nusbs.org.sg or Bao Bao@ dyprojects@nusbs.org.sg.
