This National Competition is mainly held by NTU DanceSport Academy together with Singapore DanceSport Federation.

Things to bring (Participants)

  1. A towel (preferably small one)
  2. Dance shoes
  3. Dance attire (practice skirt/pants)
  4. Competition costume (For Day3, can bring earlier for senior to check)
  5. Water bottle
  6. Writing materials
  7. Make-up and hair kit

Make-up (mandatory items for females):

*Note that the 2 hours make up workshop can only cover some theory and demo. So just note down whatever is necessary for you and everyone will do together on Day 3.

  1. Cotton wool
  2. Cotton bud
  3. Makeup remover
  4. Standing mirror
  5. Foundation (about 2 tone darker than skin)
  6. Bronzer/loose powder
  7. Eye shadow primer
  8. Eye shadow. Examples: -which matches their costume, or a neutral colour like black, dark blue/purple/brown-White or shimmery/silver colour
  9. Eye Liner
  10. A pair of fake eyelashes
  11. Eye lash glue
  12. Eyebrow pencil
  13. Mascara

  15. Lip stick

NTU DSA CLOSED COMPETITION
For those who are new to DSA, we hold competitions among members of DSA annually.
This competition is going to be judged by professionals from SGDF, and prizes and medals will be awarded to our winning teams!

The competition is judged based on Grade/Category:
Grade E: Only one dance, either Rumba, Cha-Cha, Jive or Samba (Beginners)
Grade D: Rumba and Cha-Cha
Grade C: Rumba, Cha-Cha and Jive
Grade B: Rumba, Cha-Cha, Jive and Samba

Grade A: Rumba, Cha-Cha, Jive, Samba and Paso Doble

2012 Orientation Day

Hello dearest member,

DSA has planned an orientation day especially for you, to be held at Sentosa next saturday, 27 Oct!
“No more hi-bye friends during dance classes? Get to understand each other better?”

What’s so special about this orientation day?

Well, apart from taking a short-break from your hectic workload, you get the chance to mingle and bond with the club members, the committee members as well as the seniors! You get to meet new friends from the club and expand your social circle as well! No more hi-bye friends during classes/practices!

What’s more, there will be a series of exciting activities and ice-breaking games on that day and lunch will be provided too! How great!
