After all the mid-term tests,quizzes and reports, there is a good chance for you all to relax. EL gathering 3 is coming!!! This time,we will go to URA (The Urban Redevelopment Authority) Singapore City Gallery and Marina Barrage.
In URA,you can find out traditional buildings conservation and land-use planning considerations as well as constraints. The Draft Master Plan 2008 Exhibition also brings to attention the next 10-15 years of land development in various part of Singapore - Paya Lebar Central and Kallang Riverside.
The Marina Barrage tour will bring you through a series of 6 galleries collectively known as the Singapore Sustainable Gallery. Features include the history of Singapore's prominent Kallang River and Singapore River, plus a tribute to Singapore's Green efforts and challenges ahead. The operating mechanism of Marina Barrage will also be revealed. There will be also a walk on the bridge of the barrage itself, along with discovering the rooftops gardens, courtyards.
