Video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CRs-7lRlPo&feature=player_embeddedAt 8:30pm on Saturday March 28, cities around the world will turn off their lights for one hour to show that it's possible to take action on global warming.
All households, communities and business are being invited to turn their lights off for one hour at 8:30pm on March 28, 2009.
NTU will be turning off the lights in selected places in the school compund for Earth Hour and we ask that you turn off your computer monitors and lights in your work space before you leave at the end of the week (Friday, 27 March 09). Naturally, we will adhere to our school safety guidelines/standards and emergency lighting and security systems will remain on as normal.
Further information about Earth Hour can be found on the website (
