About Us

NTU CAC Jazz and Blues has come a long way since its inception just a few years ago. Starting out as a small combo band of about five members, it has now grown into a club of about 50 members. The club members come together to form up bands to perform at various NTU events as well as external events. The band is under the expert guidance of renowned local jazz musician, Norman Seck.

Jazz and Blues is the gathering place for NTU students who share the common passion for music and performance. The bands' repertoire comprises jazz and related forms of music such as Swing, Bossa Nova, Samba, Blues, Funk and also Pop and Fusion genres.

Through our performances, the club hopes to share the appreciation of jazz music with the NTU population. Meanwhile, we constantly strive to achieve a professional level of performance and discipline in the field of music performance by exposing our musicians to a wide range of events. Club members can expect to have many performance opportunities and unforgettable experiences!
