About Us

Founded in 2007, NAAT is a student run academic club in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) under Nanyang Business School (NBS), specialising in providing financial advisory and assurance services to other student organisations within NTU. NAAT has collaborated with the Student Affairs Office (SAO) in the audit of over 80 student organisations.

NAAT also hosts events to provide opportunities for greater knowledge of financial advisory through workshops, corporate visits, talks, and competitions. We are growing from strength to strength, and the best is yet to come.

Our History

The NBS Audit and Assurance Team (Student) was set up in May 2007 by then NTU Accountancy undergraduate, Juyong, and his fellow coursemates, Weida, David, Stanley, Jianwen and Jianhao – who took on this initiative and formed the founding main committee.

Since then, we have grown from strength to strength – in recruiting more members, and initiating the annual nationwide Audit and Accounting Challenge, which sees about 350 participants from all tertiary institutions in Singapore.

The team also extends its appreciation to the following individuals for their guidance and willingness to support NAAT on its initiation:

Professor Choo Teck Min
Ms Wendy Gwee
Ms Lam-Lee Poh Ling
Accountancy and Business Club 17th and 18th Management Committee

Mission and Vision

To be the foremost authority in advocating accountability and transparency in student bodies.

To achieve our vision, NAAT must exceed the expectations of its clients, partners and fellow student auditors by committing to our values of Integrity, Professionalism, Confidence, Technical Competence and Teamwork.
