ALS Chat Room NTU Animal Lovers' Society The society run by matriculated students of NTU and students of National Institute of Education who are animal lovers. Started by Miss Fong Kam Ling in April 2007, the club received official approval by NTU Student Affairs Office in July 2007. The objectives of the club are as follows 1. To provide educational resources, information and fun to all animal lovers and to promote the knowledge of and interest in animals. 2. To raise awareness of animal rights and protection, as well as to save and improve lives of animals.As we believe that spreading love and care for animals should be through joint efforts with other organizations, NTU Animal Lovers' Society also works with official institutions and other non-governmental organizations. NTU Animal Lovers' Society organizes regular events and volunteer work to help various animal shelters care for their animals. This includes excursions to animal farms, movie nights featuring animal movies and an annual ANIMAL DAY held in school.
