Ng Seng Hong - Conductor and Bowed Strings Instructor

Ng Seng Hong, winner of the 1993 Youth Arts Award (Music), is a young and talented homegrown huqin performer and currently the music director of the People's Association Youth Chinese Orchestra (PAYCO). He has studied huqin -performing technique under masters Wong Gou Tong and Min Hui Fen. His performance is skilled, smooth, bold and vigorous with passion and enthusiasm. He has actively participated in competitions and won himself many awards, such as, the Outstanding Award and the Special Award at the First Beijing ART Cup China International Music Competition, 1987.

He is also the conductor of Anderson Junior College Chinese Orchestra (AJCO), Temasek Junior College Chinese Orchestra (TJCO) and "Kei" Clan Association Chinese Orchestra.
