Shen Guo Qin - Percussion Instructor

Shen Guo Qin was born in a family of music talents. He learned music from his father at a young age and later studied yangqin under Zhou Hui and Ding Yan Yi, percussion under Professors Xue Bao Lun and Li Min Xiong and the theory of composition under composer Lin Hua.

Shen was a percussionist with the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra from 1978 to 1996. In 1996, he joined the Sinapore Chinese Orchestra as a percussionist.
