On the day of 21st December 2011, it was a memorable day for us because we were having the first ever Christmas Party in JAC’s history! *yay*
First of all we (main comms) would like to thank you those who have showed up in the party especially those volunteered to help up in decorating the function room. For those who missed this party with whatever reasons, no worries! Contact our event directors Salimah and Liling and we might organize one more event for our dearest sub-comms and members soon!
Okay! Let me talk about what happened that day. The event was held at Eastpoint Green Condo’s function room. We started our decorations around 5pm and surprisingly some of our sub-comms already arrived. They helped us to set up the party with tinsels and balloons. Many balloons were blown and tied up to ‘tetrahedral molecule’ shape. (It was my idea). Let’s have a look at photo below to understand what do I mean tetrahedral shape.
The party then started with free activities like card game (Monopoly Deals), Jenga, Karaoke and etc. Around 7pm, there was a session known as sushi making competition was carried out. We were asked to make a sushi for a secret partner/guest. We won’t know who will make the sushi for us but we knew who will we presented for. The plates indicate the receiver’s name at the bottom and randomly distributed to us.
Prizes were given to winners, congratulations to Wei Kiang, Su Ying (1st runner up) and David Goh (2nd runner up)!
Then, our cute and handsome Japanese members Akira and Joe opened two bottles of sparkling juice (non-alcoholic) at the outside the function room.
After that, the cheese cake brought by Derrick Tan and DK Neo was used to celebrate David Goh who born in December.
After that we split into two groups to play 2nd game, (I forgot the name). I was assigned into group 1 but unfortunately my group lose to group 2. We enjoyed playing that game. The games was about we need to do some actions to let our group member to guess. We could not say the word provided. It made us feel very funny and we laugh a lots.

Last but not least, JAC Main Comms would like to wish you
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!!
