How Do I Join Toastmasters?

Joining a Toastmasters club is easy. With over a 160 clubs in Singapore and 10,000 more the world over, there is sure to be a club near you. But since you landed on our page, we reckon that you start with us first.
- Start by checking our meeting schedule to determine our next meeting date and time.
- Contact our Vice President Membership to learn more about our club.
- Attend a few of our chapter meetings to determine if our club is for you!
We must caution that every club has their own distinct personality and culture. So even if you do not find our club to your liking, do feel free to visit the other 160 clubs. There is bound to be one that will suit you!

Why Toastmasters?
Have you ever paid $100 for a one-day seminar? You won't pay that for an entire year of Toastmasters. To be a member of this renowned international organization, there exists only a S$30 new-member fee and a biannual membership fee of S$50.

Our activities are partially funded by NTU's Student Affairs Office. As a result, we draw only a modest S$5 to help cover our expenses. The rest of your membership fee goes direct to Toastmasters International in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, and we do not profit or have access them in any way.
In the event where more funds is required to sustain our activities, we, like any other good student club, rely on external sponsors and fundraising endeavors.
Your membership fee all comes back to you in the form of:
- a 6 month subscription to the TOASTMASTER magazine,
- subsidized self-improvement workshops,
- a worldwide network of Toastmasters from across the globe,
- a gateway to illustrious competitions, and
- your personal growth and development.
Moreover, your membership is international, meaning that you are free to attend the meetings and activities of over 10,000 plus Toastmasters clubs the world over. With this many clubs meeting on different day, time and location, you will never find yourself short of meetings to attend, or clubs to visit, no matter where you are!
For new members, your New Member's Kit includes: 1 Competent Communication manual, 1 Competent Leadership manual, and 3 educational manuals. You are also entitled to 2 additional Advanced Communication manuals, at no extra charge, upon completing your first.
