RSP Youth
RSP Youth is a dedicated portfolio aimed at reaching out to youths from the Singapore Boys' Home, Singapore GIrls' Home and our newly added partner institution, Boys' Town. Youths from all three centres are between the ages of 11 to 18. Youths currently staying in the Girls' and Boys' home have entered for a myriad of reasons, from juvenile delinquency to requiring protection due to unstable living conditions at home, whilst those at the Boys' Town come mainly from large or single-parent, troubled and financially-needy families.
Our volunteers essentially act as befrienders to these youths, offering academic assistance and a listening ear, whilst also learning from the unique experiences of the youths themselves. Aside from weekly sessions, volunteers also organise annual camps, swimming meets, family day carnivals and outings for these youths.
Our motto, Encourage, Enhance, Excel: A Vibrant Us, A Better Youth captures the spirit of wanting to reach out to youths to make a positive impact not only only the lives of the youths we interact with, but also on ourselves.

Annual event(s) are also organized to raise public awareness of the physically challenged. The nature of volunteering coupled with planning for the activities provide our volunteers with countless holistic development opportunities. With unyielding support from all our dedicated volunteers, RSPPC will continue its contribution for the future we envision.

Camp Outreach
(COR)
Camp OutReach (COR) is an annual project organised under the umbrella of the Welfare Services Club (WSC) of Nanyang Technological University with the key mission of empowering the hearing-impaired (HI) community.
Pioneered in 1994 as a computer class to equip the Deaf with basic computer skills, COR has evolved over the years to become a yearly camp that, through the elements of adventure, culture and education, provides a platform for the Deaf to step out of their comfort zone. The Deaf face numerous challenges in their daily lives. By leading them out of their comfort zone and engaging them in various physically and mentally challenging activities, COR strives to bring to the Deaf an enriching experience and empower them to live life to the fullest!
In recognition of its significant contribution to society, COR was awarded the Commonwealth Youth Gold Award in 2004. From then on, COR has been venturing overseas and has not looked back ever since! |

Challenge
Your Limits (CurL)
Challenge ur Limits (CurL) is a special project brought to you by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Welfare Services Club (WSC).
Indeed that our lives are full of challenges. In fact we face challenges everywhere and almost all the time in our workplaces, schools and back at our homes. Project Challenge ur Limits is the place where these challenging environments are created to challenge the physical and mental limits of the Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs).
These challenges are not meant to be daunting and discouraging. Instead, they are formulated, handpicked and marketed in a unique manner for volunteer to understand the PWIDs and to foster interaction between them.
With one nation-wide scale main event and a series of intriguing pre-events organised each year, CurL is striving for a transformational change in our volunteers' attitude and perception towards the PWIDs. The activities will provide platforms for the PWIDs to showcase their talents and understanding from the public that our beneficiaries are capable too, of doing their part for the society.
CurL also reaches out to people without prior volunteering experience. We provide a platform for them to embark on future volunteering activities. We believe that a heart as tiny as that of a mustard seed is all it takes for us to launch the first step to understand and to interact with the PWIDs.
In CurL, you can be the change that you want to see and through Curl, you can be the challenge that shapes lives. |
