Patchwork of Reminiscences
"Patchwork of Reminiscences" is a heartwarming compilation of true and inspirational stories from the lives of 17 Singaporean senior citizens. His Excellency S R Nathan has shown his support by penning the foreword of the book. ![]() The 17 elders featured in “Patchwork of Reminiscences” are the very epitome of courageous men and women who braved the trials and tribulations of life and have emerged strong. Patchwork of Flavours
“Patchwork of Flavours” is our first major project launched in 2007. Featuring 38 traditional recipes collected from elders from all walks of life, “Patchwork of Flavours” aims to preserve these valuable recipes and showcase the talents of the older generation. Available in both English and Chinese editions, “Patchwork of Flavours” is well-received by the public and over 3000 copies have been sold since its launch in 2007. Proceeds of $10,000 raised from the sales of the book are donated to the beneficiaries in 2009. The beneficiaries are AWWA Community Home for Senior Citizens, Kheng Chiu Loke Tin Kee Home, Geylang East Home for The Aged and Retired & Senior Volunteer Programme.
