Challenge ur Limits

Challenge ur Limits (Curl) is a special project under Welfare Service Club (WSC) that aims to reach out beyond NTU and to challenge the abilities of our beneficiaries involved. Through this national scale even, we hope to promote volunteerism through challenging yet fun activities. Working hand in hand, Curl hopes that volunteers and beneficiaries can work together as they experience the fun and difficulties that challenge their physical and mental strength.
For CurL'09 on 4th July, our beneficiaries and volunteers was involved in decorating and flying kites at Marina Barrage. By giving them opportunity to decorate the kites, we allow the beneficiaries to express their creativity and challenge their mental limits as making and decorating kites require a high level of patience. At the same time, flying a kite requires a certain level of co-ordination skills, thus challenging the physical limits of the beneficiaries, especially the intellectually disabled.
