Information:
Gunung Rinjani, a stratovolcano (Active), is the highest mountain on the island of Lombok and the 3rd highest in Indonesia. It is situated in the north of Lombok.

What stands out most about this mountain is the beauty of the scenery in the crater and the spectacular views you get from the top. The huge caldera contains a large crescent-shaped lake (about 2,000 m), called Segara Anak ("Child of the Sea"), and a post-caldera cone (approximately 2,800 m), called Gunung Baru Jari ("Mount New Finger"). The crescentic form of the lake results from growth of the cone. Lava flows have entered the lake. The central cone is still active; the last eruption took place in 2009. From the top you can see the trio of volcanoes in the east of Bali (Agung, Abang and Batur), the "Gilis", and the island of Sumbawa.

Jerangkang Waterfalls, located in Pahang, West Malaysia, offers several pools for cool dips and natural ‘jacuzzi’. According to the locals, there are 43 cascades of waterfalls around. It is also the sister waterfall of the famous Berkelah Waterfall. After a bumpy road ride through the gravel route and passing by numerous streams we will get to the trailhead. A short trek would take us to the base camp, situated nearby the first fall. The campsite is a perfect place for bonding activities, chit-chat sessions and star gazing at night. The waterfall trek is also suitable for first-time trekkers as the trek up is relatively easy. After experiencing about 2 to 3 hours of waterfall trekking and river crossing, get rewarded by the magnificent view at the summit pool. Also known as the “blue lagoon”, this is where you get to have your hunger pangs resolved, relaxing by the rocks, swimming and having cool dips in the greenish-blue pool under the hot sun. This trip is a perfect short getaway for anyone who wishes to breakaway from the bustling city life and pick up some outdoor survival skills.
