IMH Visit!

Dear members,

As recess week draws near, NTU Psychology Society is bringing you yet another event to look forward to!

The visit to the Institute of Mental Health includes a sharing by Clinical Psychologist Ms Tina Tin of the Psychology Department, an introduction to the Community Health Assessment Team (CHAT) by Ms Tan Ying Zhen, as well as a tour of IMH.Through this visit, it is hoped that students can establish a link between what they are learning in school and what is happening in the real world.

Getting there:
1) There will be a chartered bus from HSS, NTU to IMH, and back from IMH to Bishan MRT Station. The meeting time is 8:20am at the HSS Foyer.
2) You can choose to make your own way there. Meet at the main lobby (near 7-11) of IMH by 9:15am.

Upcoming Recruitment Info session regarding the Peer Helping Programme

The SCC will be recruiting new Confidants for the PHP programme

Confidants or peer helpers are student volunteers who are equipped with relevant skills and knowledge to identify and befriend a person with emotional and/or psychological difficulties.

Learn about the Peer Helping Programme (PHP), a peer support programme by the Student Counselling Centre, in partnership with the NTU Psychology Society.
