Risk Management Society (Nanyang Technological University) is into its 11th year in the upcoming academic year. Founded in 2001, as a student chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Association of Singapore (RIMAS), a non-profit organisation aimed at advancing the discipline and practice of risk management, we are the student body dedicated to promoting risk management among students in NTU.
Membership
For a fee of $10 for your entire stay in NTU, you will be registered as an ordinary member of RMS, giving you access to:
- Seminars, talks and workshops held by professionals and alumni in relevant industries
- Access to ACE workshops, run by members of RMS itself
- Early bird entry to events organised by RMS
- Opportunities to work on special projects for RMS for CCA points allocations
You're also entitled to complementary student membership to RIMAS. Membership fees for RIMAS are waived for all ordinary members of RMS. Upon graduation, your membership status will automatically be granted associate member status.
Under NTU’s ECA Point System, the following points scale is awarded for a Tier 2 Club like RMS:
- Ordinary Member 3
- Events Subcommittee Member 5
- Events Committee Co-Chairperson/Special Projects Chairperson 7
- Executive Committee Member 7
- President/Vice-President 9
