Welcome to the Snooker & Pool Club Homepage

NTUSPC is a sub-club under NTU Sports Club. As its name suggests, NTUSPC brings pool and snooker enthusiasts under one roof. On top of weekly trainings for its competitive players, NTUSPC also holds fortnightly sessions for its recreational players. Competitive players are sent to participate in inter-varsity tournaments, whilst recreational players are encouraged to participate in the events organized by the club. These events serve to further facilitate the interaction amongst cue sports enthusiasts in NTU, and they include competitive ones such as the NTU Snooker Championship and the NTU Pool Open, as well as non-competitive activities like Snooker and Pool Clinics and NTU Pool Outing. In the following academic year, NTUSPC is proud to bring to NTU these following events, in which we hope to have the student population's greatest support.

NTUSPC started out in 1998 as NTU Snooker and Billiard Club (NTUSBC) by a group of snooker enthusiasts all with the common passion and intention to gather NTU students with the same interest in cue sports . Starting out with just the snooker competitive team, we have through the years grown to include a pool competitive team in 2004 and a pool recreational team in 2006 with great response from the NTU student population. Following our expansion to include pool teams, we have decided to change our name to NTUSPC in 2006 to show our desire of promoting pool as one of the main cuesport. Currently, the club has 70 members inclusive of both committee and players from both the snooker and pool teams and also 200+ people who subscribe to our yahoo group as a form of online newsletter to inform them of upcoming events that we will be holding.
